The Football Round Up – 06/10/16

Last week on The Football Round Up I was joined by Michael Gaughan and David Ronney, here are the highlights from the show. Remember that you can listen to The Football Round Up every Thursday at 3pm live on the Radio ENRG website.

Two months into the Scottish Premiership season, the FRU discuss Celtic, Aberdeen and Rangers’ respective starts to the new campaign. With Brendan Rodgers now Celtic manager and with Rangers back in the top flight, it’s set to be an interesting season..

Next the boys analyse Spurs’ 2-0 win over Manchester City. After becoming the first team to beat Pep Guardiola since his arrival in England, can Spurs challenge for the title this season?

And finally, we discussed Arsenal. Could Arsene Wenger’s 20th season as Arsenal manager be his last? Are the Gunners now ready to launch a serious title challenge or will they simply do an ‘Arsenal’?
The boys also take questions from Twitter and debate who should be Arsenal’s main striker.
